Abstract
It is vital in our communities and early learning 'spaces' to open up effective communication channels where leaders, educators, community members, and parents can share a vision and collaboratively develop practical strategies - particularly through times of change. This is not an easy feat, and presents significant challenges and fears for many leaders. Many leaders wish to be collaborative but are challenged by the practicalities of genuinely engaging staff, parents, and the community in the process.
