Tort Law: Text and Materials

Mark Lunney, Ken Oliphant

Research output: Book/ReportBookRevision/New Edition

Abstract

In this new edition, we remain committed to the aims set out in the preface to the first: to produce a stimulating resource for use in the teaching of tort law and a work worthy of scholarly attention. The years since the last edition have seen some significant developments, but no major changes at the level of fundamental principle. We have the impression that English tort law is entering a period of relative stability, in which court decisions and legislative interventions reinforce existing approaches and tendencies rather than breaking new ground.
