'The Book of Revelation': Showing without Telling

Abstract

Ana Kokkinos' film 'The Book of Revelation' examines the issue of rape from a challenging position of gender reversal and explores the sexuality and masculinity set against the evocative backdrop of inner-city of Melbourne. It is a story of a successful dancer and choreographer, who is abducted by the three masked women, thus highlights the victim of a sex crime.
