Abstract
Some twenty years ago A. C. Cawley, then Brisbane-based, prepared an edition of 'Everyman' from the Manchester University Press, following upon his 1956 slightly modernised acting text of the play. There is now issued from Perth a handsome lithographic edition and study guide which is priced at a fraction of the cost of its predecessor. Since this new work, at least in this country, will probably replace Cawley's, it is interesting to note the areas of difference between the two.
