Abstract
<p>From 2016 SiMERR, UNE employed a QuickSmart Coordinator in each of DCC and ASCC to:<ol><li>oversee the program operations;</li><li>provide targeted support to Prisoner Instructors; and</li><li>provide supplementary instruction to prisoners in identification of learning needs and in advanced skills instruction.</li></ol></p><p>A systems approach was adopted to identify how operational matters affected the delivery of QuickSmart instruction, and ways that issues identified might be better addressed.</p>
