Abstract

This paper concerns the explication of the concept of mereological summation, not only for its own interest, but also to undermine an argument for the principle of Unique Fusion that uses as a premiss Unique Summation. This is only a partial undermining, for it leaves intact an argument that has as premisses not only Unique Summation but also Weak Supplementation.
