Abstract

These memories are written from the perspective of a Professional Officer who was a member of the Departmental support staff from 1978 to 1995, as well as a student, a member of the greater Armidale community, and a public communicator. My first years in the Botany Department were under headship of Professor Noel Beadle (1914-1998).
