Abstract

The development of new software is an iterative and incremental process with analysis, design and implementation as main phases. The Unified Modelling Language (UML) is de facto standard used to capture modelling artifacts and document development projects with use cases and scenarios as prominent visual analysis tools. As non-technical stakeholders have difficulties to understand UML visual models, we investigate the root causes and suggest some improvements.
