Andi Irawan

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

This paper seeks to reflect on the relationship between Islam and the sate in Modern Indonesia. It is particularly concerned to present the changing circumstances and attitudes in the country since World War Two. While the subject matter may seem simple, the processes of government and religious beliefs have been much entangled, and their separation is both a difficult process and an ongoing one.
