Illustrating Statistical Procedures: for Business, Behavioural & Social Science Research

  • Ray Wagner Cooksey

    Research output: Book/ReportBookResearch

    Abstract

This book provides a set of descriptions and illustrations for a comprehensive range of statistical procedures as they are applied in quantitative research in business and the behavioural and social sciences (including education, psychology and health). My intention is to provide a conceptual overview of each procedure as to what it is, what it does, and where you can go to find out more about it. Along the way you will encounter discussions of some of the more important and fundamental statistical concepts that underpin many of the procedures you will explore. You will also learn what computer programs are available to carry out specific statistical procedures and see the sorts of analytical and interpretive information they can yield.
