Abstract
Harvest of the Grim Reapers details the histories of the United States Army Air Forces' 3rd and 27th Bomb Groups from the time of each unit's formation and detailing their service in the Second World War through to December 1942. Official records for much of the first year of the war in the Pacific are often inaccurate, incomplete, or even non-existent, making this volume an invaluable asset documenting the events of those early months of conflict.
