Getting the Point about 'Western' Consumption Patterns: Some Student Responses to a Cartoon about Ecological Footprint

Considerable efforts are made to encourage students to think critically about their lifestyles and in particular their patterns of consumption and explicit links are made between western levels of consumption and environmental degradation. To deliberately raise excessive consumption as an issue of concern cartoons are used and student responses are solicited for such cartoons.
