Famous Australian Birds

In this book, we'll look at the fascinating lives of Australia's best-known birds: Kookaburra, magpie, sulphur-crested cockatoo, lyrebird, emu, eastern rosella, tawny frogmouth and wedge-tailed eagle. All of them arr tremendously interesting birds, and several of them have become Australian icons. Companies use them as trademarks. The emu is part of the national coat of arms, and the kookaburra, magpie, lyrebird and eagle feature on state emblems. Sporting clubs are named after them too.
