    Abstract

The articles in this special issue derive from papers presented within the Information Technology Law & Cyberspace stream at the Socio-Legal Studies Association annual conferences at York in 2013 and at Aberdeen in 2014. There is no specific theme within that stream but it is of interest that the articles included here share common concerns around the issues of privacy, surveillance and fear within a digitally connected world and the law's response to such issues.
