In this article, Nan Xu Rattanasone, Jea-Hyun Kim, Yonggang Ren, Christos Pliatsikas and Shirley Wyver discuss the urgent need to develop Australia-specific data around bilingual children. They also provide a practical example of how early childhood educators can teach English to bilingual children and several resources to consult.
