Abstract
Wireless Local Area Networks are one of the great communications technology success stories today. The 802.11 networking standard, also known as 'Wireless Ethernet'. WiFi, and Wireless LAN has become popular with Internet users and enterprises looking for cost-effective LAN extension that is easy to implement and provides reliable Service. Unfortunately, the standard poorly implements one of the most fundamental aspects of networking, the security. We present here some concerns regarding the implementation and use of WLAN in an enterprise.
