Abstract
Proceedings brought by or against children under 18 years of age - A child under the age of 18 years may only start, continue, respond to or seek to intervene in an application under the (CTH) Family Law 1975 by a Case Guardian unless a court is satisfied that the child understands the nature and possible consequences of the proceedings and is capable of conducting them on his or her own behalf.
