N2 - Phrygian (or stylistically similar) ceramics are a common component of Iron Age sites in central Anatolia, but much of Phrygian culture remains obscure. In this chapter we use a combination of systematic survey and archaeological science at the ritual site of Dümrek to help us understand the extent of Early and Middle Phrygian cultural interaction in central Anatolia.
