    Abstract

    A small group of trematodes (flukes) with about 80 freshwater and marine species in 4 families and 13 genera, infecting fishes (chondrichthyans and teleosts) and turtles. The Aspidogastrea vary in length from about 2 mm (0.08 in.) to several centimeters.
