Abstract

'A Voluptuous Year' is a poem commissioned by Margaret River Press on behalf of a Western Australian winery for the anthology Cullen Wines Poetry Collection. The editor of the press assigned to me the red wine Mangan Vineyard Malbec. My poem thus reflects my investigation of the history of the Malbec grape in Australia as well as the biodynamic methods of the winery and the ecological features of the vineyard site.
