Abstract
Imagine that we are at the black sands of Matavai Bay, Tahiti, on the 21st of September 1789. It is almost a year after the Bounty first arrived at this same place. However, circumstances are vastly different now. The Bounty is now under the command of Fletcher Christian. Lieutenant Bligh and his loyal men have been disposed of. Exhausted, the mutineers are stretched to their limits. Some of them seal their fate by leaving the ship in order to establish their lives on Tahiti, unknowingly awaiting the horror of the Pandora. Nine others decide to go wherever Christian might sail, in search of a hiding place out of reach of the mighty Royal British Navy. But this cannot be done without supplies for survival, and of course, women.
