Abstract

This chapter offers a thorough presentation of current evidence-based educational approaches for students with autism. The chapter is divided into 2 parts: Part A includes a description of the major psychological characteristics of students with autism which formulate their distinct learning style and Part B describes successful empirically-validated educational methods for supporting individuals in the autistic spectrum.
