Project Details
Description
In this project, we investigate the ways in which historians, curators and museum visitors can think differently about how we learn in museums and heritage sites. The focus of this work is on the representations of children’s stories of absence, surrender, loss and resilience. We reconsider how historical representations are embedded in the curated materials, stories and visitors’ interactive encounters. This research represents a notable theoretical contribution to the history discipline through the introduction of post-qualitative theories and new materialist perspectives to history work and museology
