Project Details
Description
This project established a network of NGO service providers and researchers with a range of complementary skills to integrate research into services for high-risk young people. It demonstrated that a best-evidence model of care could be adapted to a range of diverse service providers, and developed a standardised assessment tool that could be used by multiple services to routinely assess their program participants at intake and follow-up. Given the importance of protecting the data of the Indigenous young people engaged in these programs, it also developed a practical framework for operationalising Indigenous data sovereignty. It identified barriers and enablers to the uptake of the model of care and assessment tool into routine practice.
