Project Details
Description
Signifying a major shift away from disaster recovery-based approaches to mental health, this project proactively improves mental health, wellbeing, resilience and social connectedness in preparation for future exposure to extreme weather events such as bushfires and drought. Through a preventative community-led and based approach for rural Australians, adapted for each community’s unique context and diversity, the project will upskill and build communities to protect mental health and wellbeing.
