Biographical Details
Dr Stuart Robertson is the lecturer of Community Services within the School of Health and a full member of Australian Community Workers Association (ACWA). Stuart has extensive work experience within the community service sector, ranging from direct care work, community development roles, case management in both disability and child protection leading a Local Area Coordination (LAC) as part of the NDIS.
Stuart’s PhD research focused on the conditions required to enable remote mining communities remain viable post mining. The research highlighted the dependency upon those mining communities by surrounding communities and the impact upon service delivery as the mining workforce changed in its nature and size.
