Biographical Details

Dr Mia is a Lecturer in Agronomy and Soil Water Management. Prior to joining the University of New England, he served as an academic at Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Bangladesh. He received PhD in Agriculture from the University of Sydney, where he also worked as a postdoctoral researcher. Dr Mia completed Master’s degree in Agronomy from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangladesh, and Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University, the Netherlands. His research interests focus on understanding the relationships between soil organic matter, soil physical properties, and soil water dynamics under diverse cropping systems.
