Sally Larsen

Dr. Sally Larsen is a senior lecturer and researcher in the School of Education. Dr Larsen's research focuses on the development of academic skills from early childhood through to late adolescence, employing sophisticated quantitative statistical methods to analyse longitudinal patterns of development. She has a particular interest in reading development across primary and secondary school in Australia. Dr Larsen uses quantitative research methodology, including regression approaches, structural equation modeling, confirmatory and exploratory factor analysis, and latent growth curve modeling. She is interested in uses and applications of largescale government data to answer novel research questions, and is an expert in the analysis and interpretation of NAPLAN data.
