Biographical Details
Dr Phil Glover is an experienced legal educator and researcher who specialises in Criminal Law, Advanced Criminal Law, Security and Intelligence Governance, Internet-centred offending (prejudice-based offending and image-centred abuse) and Statutory Interpretation.His teaching excellence is underpinned by a deep commitment to applied legal education, enriched by 18 years of operational experience in counter-terrorism and public order policing in Northern Ireland. Dr Glover's research focuses on the legal and ethical dimensions of covert investigatory powers, electronic surveillance, and internet-related offending. Informed by this professional experience, his scholarly work offers students and academic audiences a unique perspective on contemporary criminal justice challenges.
