Biographical Details
Dr. Nipa Rani Sarker is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow specializing in Meat Science. With a solid background in Animal Genetics and Breeding, Dr. Sarker offers a unique perspective to her research within the meat industry.
During her Ph.D. studies at the University of New England, Dr. Sarker focused on enhancing carcass value in livestock through genetic improvements, exploring the genetic mechanisms influencing critical traits in farm animals. This research has paved the way for her current focus on Meat Science.
In her role as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, she is committed to advancing knowledge in Meat Science, particularly in improving meat quality and sustainability. Her research interests span various topics, including meat quality assessment, innovative processing techniques, and understanding consumer preferences.
