Biographical Details

Dr Tash Hawkins is a passionate nurse academic and researcher committed to improving rural health outcomes through innovative nursing education and inclusive workplace cultures. With over 20 years of nursing and academic experience, she has led curriculum design, engaged in rural outreach and placement innovation, and produced impactful research on nursing transitions, interprofessional education, and workplace respect. Tash currently coordinates postgraduate aged care nursing courses and is the Tamworth Campus Community Engagement Lead for Nursing at UNE.
