Biographical Details

Assoc. Prof. Melanie Fillios is an anthropological archaeologist with an interest in the relationship between humans and animals throughout history. She has extensive field experience in Greece and Australia, and has taught a range of theoretical and practical, field-based subjects in the United States and Australia.

Assoc. Prof. Fillios is passionate about all things education. She has a particular fascination with exploring the ways that increased interaction with technology is influencing learning. She is also an avid advocate for sustainability and is intensely interested in exploring the nexus between people, the environment and the increasing role of technology in all aspects of modern life.
