Biographical Details

Dr Mansi Dass Singh is a Lecturer and researcher in the Department of Biomedical Science. She has coordinated various units in the Bachelor of Biomedical Science, Nutrition and Health Science, and Masters of Nursing Practice. An overseas trained dietitian, Mansi attained PhD from the University of Adelaide and CSIRO. She is a registered nutritionist with nutrition society of Australia and a clinical practicing nutritionist for the past 10 years building on her nutrition science, to expertise in epigenetics and dietary prevention of diseases.  As an educator, with Fellowship of Higher Education, UK (FHEA), Graduate certificate in digital education, and Bachelors in Education, her philosophy draws from cognitive, creative and humanised pedagogy.

She passionately contributes to preventative nutrition for health through her entrepreneurship at ‘Ace Nutrition and Wellbeing centre’.

A mid-career researcher, Mansi’s research interest include:

Diet & Nutrition research: With expertise in qualitative and quantitative studies, Mansi’s research interests are Matrescence, micronutrients and DNA health, menopause and first nation women, phytochemicals, nutrigenomics and molecular pathways in metabolic and mental wellbeing.

 Students looking to gain skills in macronutrient analysis, use of dietary software, nutritional metabolic biomarkers and survey-based studies are encouraged to contact via email.

Application of AI in teaching, dementia care and nutrition: Currently, my collaborative work explores the integration of multimodal data to enhance diagnostic precision and the application of AI-driven simulations to improve health outcomes in aging populations.

SOTL:  As a reflective educator, Mansi has completed research in innovative digital learning, curriculum design and use of generative AI to facilitate student’s motivation and success.

Mansi proactively communicated to national and international academia as a member of professional societies: Nutrition Society of Australia, secretary- Federation of Oceanic Nutrition Societies Early Career Task Force.
