Biographical Details

Lili Pâquet specialises in writing studies and rhetoric. Her book, Crime Fiction from a Professional Eye, examines the crime novels of women who have previously worked in the criminal justice system as lawyers, forensic experts, and detectives. Her edited collection, True Crime and Women, investigates how women contribute to the genre as writers, readers, and 'characters'. Her current research focuses on crime writing, digital publishing, poetry, and rhetoric.
