Biographical Details

Dr Hassan Aliloo has been involved in research projects aiming to improve cattle production in a diverse range of environmental conditions both in the developed and developing countries. The outcome of his research has helped smallholder dairy farmers in Africa and India to adapt genomic technologies to achieve a sustainable genetic improvement. Most recently he has been using large volumes of genomic and phenotypic data to accelerate the rate of genetic progress in novel and economically important traits in Australian Angus beef cattle.
