Personal profile

Biographical Details

Dr Guy Ballard is a field ecologist who specialises in working with wildlife and people to achieve practical outcomes from science-based wildlife management programs. Most of his research deals with controversial and/or challenging topics, such as the management of feral cats and dingoes. He takes a ‘hands-on’ approach to research, preferring to work in the field at their large scale camera monitoring and telemetry research sites whenever possible. He supervises a range of higher degree research students at the University of New England.
