Felicity Joseph

Felicity Joseph is Lecturer in Philosophy and Political Theory at UNE. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Melbourne, (thesis title 'Phenomenologies of the Lived Body: Husserl, Stein, Merleau-Ponty and Marcel on Embodiment’). Felicity has taught at the University of Melbourne, Swinburne and RMIT, and at UNE has collaborated with U3A (University of the Third Age). As a member of UNE's Gender and Rural Studies Research Collective, she has also contributed to training for UNE’s Gender Equity in Agricultural Research for Development (GEAReD) program, and more recently has been involved in facilitating public conversations about care work. As one of UNE’s Teaching-Focused cohort, she brings her wide range of teaching experience to the disciplines of Philosophy, Politics and Gender Studies. 

Felicity is lecturer and unit coordinator for the following units:
