Biographical Details

Elena joined AGBU in early 2021 and is currently working on breeding design and estimation of genetic parameters for the Australian sheep industry. Her previous experience includes marker-assisted selection, genomic selection, reference population breeding design, index selection, simulation, imputation, data management, and data analysis across a range of animals. She has dealt with both industrial sectors and academic communities which has considerably expanded her interdisciplinary skills. She has recently joined an AWI project working on flystrike.
