Research activity per year
Professor Einar Thorsteinsson is a Head of School for Psychology at the University of New England. His research focus is in the area of health psychology and covers adolescent health; mental health, such as depression, anxiety, and wellbeing; the effects of sexual orientation on health; and adolescent coping. His research is driven by strong domestic and international collaborations, including the international Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC) research network. He has published over 85 peer reviewed journal articles (citations>7,900, h-index>35, i-index>60) and more than 10 book chapters.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
