Biographical Details

Casey graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Human Movement in 1999. Following this he worked as a primary school HPE teacher, as a fitness professional in the health and fitness industry, and as a health professional with Adult Education for over 50’s population. He has been a registered fitness professional for twenty-four years working as a gym manager, personal trainer, fitness instructor, and industry health presenter.Casey has worked at Higher Education since 2003, throughout which time he has taught into and coordinated several units within the Health and Physical Education field. These units have included Health and Physical Activity, Contemporary Health Issues, HPE Pedagogy, Sports Coaching, Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity, Health and Behaviour Change, and Organisation in Community Sport and Recreation.
